What we do with the data
The overarching idea of tracking all this data is twofold. On the one hand, we want to understand what works and what doesn't when it comes to the marketing we do and, on the other hand, we want to continuously improve the user experience for you and your followers.
Below we describe for each cookie what we track, where we track it and how it contributes to one of those two purposes.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics provides us with information about who visits our website (anonymously) and what the profile of that person is. The data we use is limited to how people use our website and application. We do not do anything with things like demographic and geographical data.
We mainly want to know whether people can find what they are looking for on our website. We also want to measure whether the content we publish is valuable to our followers.
Finally, Google Analytics also tells us which ads and campaigns are doing well and which are not, so that we can target our marketing budget more effectively.
We only track our marketing website springcast.fm/* and the use of our application app.springcast.fm. We do not track the podcast website you receive from us. It's up to you whether you want to add your own Google Analytics tracking code to that website.

Zoho Campaigns
We use Zoho Campaigns as our newsletter and marketing automation system. Here we store your information, such as:
- E-mail address
- Name and surname
What we do not store are, for example, the payment details. These are stored locally in our own e-commerce software (hosted in Groningen).
We use this software to keep our communications as relevant as possible. Some emails are relevant to a specific group of contacts, but not to everyone. And in a time of email overload, we want to create maximum relevance and keep the number of emails to a minimum. Zoho Campaigns and the data we collect from it helps us do that.

Zoho Forms
We use Zoho Forms for the forms on our website. These forms are used to give visitors the opportunity to subscribe to our newsletter.
In order to provide the most relevant forms and content offers, Convertflow keeps track of which pages someone visits. We only use this information to offer the right forms and content in a pop-up or slide-in.

LinkedIn tracking
Occasionally, we have a marketing campaign running on LinkedIn and we use advertisements to reach relevant professionals. To monitor the effectiveness of our campaigns, we have installed a LinkedIn tracking script that anonymously tracks who visits the page from an ad and possibly purchases a product.

AdWords tracking
To monitor the effectiveness of our Google Ads campaigns, we have also installed a Google Ads tracking script. This script anonymously records which clicks lead to a purchase.
