The foundation is in place. Now we are going to invest heavily in better statistics and design!
And the good thing is... you don't even have to wait long for it, because a lot of these items are already being worked on in the background. What is already in the pipeline?
The podcast player.
A thorn in our side, we think. We wanted to move fast and this was okay for a while. Now, we are building the best player in the industry, optimised for more and better interaction with your listeners. For example, we make integrations with ActiveCampaign and Mailerlite. People can then subscribe to your newsletter via the player.
See it below. From the broadcast package onwards, you can also style it according to your own brand. Below you see the basic player, but also a variant based on the brands Shell and CocaCola.

The podcast site.
The podcast website was also average. And average is not something that suits us. We prefer, probably like you, to go for exceptional. We are already working on this in the background as well.
In both cases, we focus on the interaction with your followers and listeners. Below you can see what the new Springcast website will look like. This can be adapted to any corporate identity in any package.
From the broadcaster package onwards, you do have the possibility to deliver an almost completely custom design. We will then implement this at an additional cost. That way you can make it all your own. Especially if you have your podcast website running on a custom domain.

What else do we have in the pipeline?
Furthermore, we are currently working on the findability of your podcasts in search engines. Under the bonnet, everything has already been optimised, but soon you as a user will also have more opportunities to optimise things like meta data, etc.
Another area we are investing heavily in is the statistics module. We have noticed that Apple, Spotify and Google are not yet so keen on sharing the really interesting data.
But what we have also noticed is that most of our customers' traffic comes from the player they have on their website. And we have control over the data there. So we are going to do very cool things with this. For example audio heatmaps (Where do people drop out) or the number of people who have registered via the player subscribed to the newsletter.
Further in 2021
The great thing is that we do not have to live off Springcast. Every euro we earn, we invest back into improving our products. Here are a few things we have on a list to tackle:
- Optimising workflow in the management environment
- Integrations with other podcast tools
- Remove download limit
- Reaction possibility on the audio timeline
- Private podcasts (incl. zapier integration) and watch out for the fat white paper we will soon be releasing on that subject
That is the global list so far. But we are in direct contact with many of our customers and are constantly getting feedback and suggestions to add to our lists. Do you have features that you miss? Feel free to send us your ideas or feedback at support@springcast.fm.
